RATLIFF HAS WORN A FEW NUMBERS IN HIS SPORTS CAREER.
HERE'S A AN EXPLANATION FROM JAY AS TO WHY HE CHOSE EACH ONE

In High School, for the Lowndes Vikings, I wore #21. Mainly because my Mom wore #22 as a great athlete in Basketball. I wanted something close to her number. I wore it in both Basketball & Football. My second oldest brother also wore #21.
I was a TE in college, and when I got to Auburn the number I really wanted was #81. However, that number was taken, so the number closest was 83. When I moved to DE, I kept the number.
When I got to the Cowboys as a rookie, I didn't care what number I got because i was so excited to be there. So they issued me #66. Not until after they gave it to me did I realize I didn't like it. But I was a rookie, so I had to keep it.
#90 is a number I really wanted and once Eric Ogbogu left, I scooped it up. I love 90 and I hope its the last number I ever wear.
